HIV+ Widow Thrives

Edith Adembesa gathered other HIV+ widows in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and formed support groups named WEMA widows. These women decided to undertake feeding the many abandoned AIDS orphans in their area. After three years she writes:
"We won the tender with WFP to supply 4000 bag of maize. The program will run for four years it also opened  an orpotunity for me to  attend a two weeks trainig in Agriculture organised by WFP, Academic Model Providing Access To health Care (AMPATH) and the Embassy for  Israel.     A big thank you to N.P.I programme it has given me reason to long for tomorrow my way down has turned God way up for me. Thank you for being my friend and many friends you have connected me.

 My children are doing well. One at meru medical school, one hotel managent and caterring in Nairobi, One joined University this September, one in form three, two in class seven, one in class four and lastly one has compleated a couse in medicine has joined AMPATH clinic in Turbo. Isn't our God a good God!"
